About
My name is Tanya Mason. My artwork is a celebration of nature through Animism, symbolism, ritual and narrative. It is influenced by the natural surroundings, history and folklore of the Forest of Dean, combined with my childhood experiences growing up as a British expat in The Netherlands, and my lifelong love of Japanese culture. I am exploring nature-centric female archetypes through a storytelling shape-shifting muse and alter-ego, Wendy Moth.
