An ever evolving magical menagerie of whimsical carnival characters designed with delight in mind. Wendy Moth explores Animistic theatrical storytelling through the creation of decorative, animated, interactive and wearable works. Combining a variety of materials and techniques to create artworks, puppets, masks, theatres and more.

The Wendy Moth is shape-shifter, muse and emerging alter-ego of multidisciplinary artist Tanya Mason, based in the Forest of Dean, UK. Her work is influenced by the natural surroundings, history and folklore of the Forest of Dean, combined with her childhood experiences growing up as a British expat in The Netherlands, and her lifelong love of Japanese culture.  She explores Animism and storytelling as a means to foster greater understanding and connection with nature.
